Nongpa-nga Pratumwong earned her bachelor degree in law (LL.B.) and master's degree (LL.M. - Environmental and Natural Resources Law) from Thammasat University, Thailand. She began her career as a legal officer at the Thai Office of the Judiciary in 2008 where she learned the law of the sea and the pollution problems in Thailand. In 2011, She worked as a legal officer at the Thaplan National Park where she applied her environmental law background from her LL.M. for various environmental cases. 

She is currently working for the Office of Attorney-General in Thailand, but plans to become a part time lecturer in certain universities in the near future.
