Cebu, Philippines In-Country Training

Manila, Philippines: First Regional Training

The first regional TTT program at ADB headquarters comprised of university professors and lecturers from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka an was delivered using various teaching methodologies, including lectures, case studies, role playing, small group interactions, guest lecturers, multi-media materials and on-the-ferry class room instruction down Pasig River to demonstrate the field trip as a teaching methodology and to discuss the local environmental issues.  Environmental lawyer and activist Tony Oposa was invited as a special guest speaker.

TA-9248 MYA: Rural Productivity and Ecosystems Services Enhanced in Central Dry Zone Forest Reserves - Assistant Project Manager (47152-002)

The objective of the proposed TA is to enhance rural productivity and ecosystems services in Central Dry Zone forest reserves, over a five year project period. The Assistant Project Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and work in close collaboration with the Project Director and Chief Technical Advisor, to provide overall technical guidance and direction, particularly field level coordination for the TA.
